Little Lotus Yoga
About the Creator
Welcome to Little Lotus Yoga’s webpage!
My name is Alicia Pesce and I am a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) and have been teaching yoga for 8 years and counting!
Sharing yoga is my passion and my dreams have been to teach to all ages and abilities all over the world.
I started getting kids excited about yoga by creating glow in the dark themed yoga classes.
What started small has grown into hosting birthday parties, play dates, Girl Scouts group events, private lessons tailored to families needs and sports specific recovery and stress relief.
I currently teach at Yogasix, Villasport, Santosha Yoga and also develop children’s and adult specialty programs for yoga, mindfulness, family art and yoga and children’s leadership development programming with the City of Roseville.
Part of my dreams has been to see my yoga programming come to life in the school community as well!
Little Lotus Yoga is a program that will help children have fun when practicing yoga.
Children learn through play and our yoga classes are engaging, help children learn coping skills to handle their emotions, creating better focus.
They also benefit from the physical practice of strengthening their bodies, increasing flexibility in muscles and joints and building better balance.
One thing I wish I would have been able to do as a child is yoga.
The benefits of learning how to breathe and cope with anxiety and stress in a healthy way is a tool that allows our children to learn early on just how powerful this practice can be!
